CUT KIT
With "Cut Kit", I offer precut denim kits your can sew in a 2-3 hour workshop, or all on your own at home.
Precut means that my kits are ready-to-assemble out of the box. All sets feature guiding marks on the pieces and short, intuitive video instructions to help you sew your project. Instead of reading complex instructions, you get to jump-start your skills with a video guide.
Instead of understanding, printing, taping and cutting sewing patterns, you can dive right into the fun.
For my sewing sets, I use high-end deadstock and end-of-roll Selvedge Denim to create unique limited series of Bag sewing kits.
Follow CUT KIT on Instagram for workshop dates:
Key facts: what does it contain?
I currently offer my Ready-to-Assemble-concept in a workshop format, where my participants receive:- PRECUT KIT for a stylish denim and leather bag (i.e. all pieces, leather handles, book screws, hook & D-ring to close the bag)
- ACCESS TO TOOLS necessary to assemble your kit. These are screw driver & sewing machine, pins, threads, clippers, etc
- VIDEO ASSEMBLY GUIDE and live support from a professional designer.
- UNIQUE MATERIALS such as mid-weight denim & leather you can't easily prepare, punch and sew at home. You need no prior sewing experience
Why does it matter?
SUSTAINABILITY: My product optimizes fabric use from end-of-roll and upcycling materials, sourcing from available textiles rather than buying from new production.
For you, there are no textile leftovers to store or throw out.
SKILLBUILDING: By leaving out pattern reading, you can focus on the sewing process right away, ensuring a rewarding and fun experience.
You can improve these skills on other projects, build and individualise your wardrobe, and pick own-made stuff over fast fashion items.
My "CUT KIT" products & workshops are based on years of pattern making experience and guiding sewists and professional fashion designers through DIY experiences, workshops, and textile learning experiences.
What do I take home?
- a stylish and individual new accessory that you made all by yourself!- a unique creative immersion in Berlin's most amazing Makerspace MotionLab.- the pride in mastering the first steps of a new skill- the peace of mind that you made it all from discarded or end-of-roll fabrics

Backstory: sustainability & textile waste
In my work, I like to focus on challenging the problems fast fashion and modern textile consumption create.
With our textile startup InPeaces, my partner and I developed a unique sewing-by-numbers approach for beginners. After ceasing our operations, I wanted to continue working on Ready-To-Assemble Fashion approaches.
Focusing on a guided learning path is an empowering tool to link the DIY trend and a rising awareness of the amounts of textile waste we produce.
workshops
Textile printing team events
Showcase your brand values and sustainable and creative core with this unique format: Invite your customers to print an individually crafted branded "swag bag", shirt, or other textile accessory.Or let your team and community connect and interact with your brand in a creative and unique way by creating their very own company merch.I'm happy to create an explorative event for your company's wishes.
Creative Kids & Adults
I teach sewing, fashion design and upcycling for students of all ages, all levels, and all backgrounds.Thorough prep creates lasting experiences. I precut fabrics or motives, or bring a pile of discarded textiles to reuse, depending on your aims for your workshop.
Upcycling
Upcycling is not just a buzzword, it's the way to go from a take - make - waste economy to truly circular. With upcycling techniques, we create absolutely unique and bold statement pieces.
All my design workshops focus on 3 core aspects:1. Design process
The design process strengthens my students’ agency. It helps clarifying what you’re about, and builds their self confidence: design is not experienced as high end objects out of reach, but as a reflection of personality portrayed by series of individual choices.2. Personal Character
By design choices we reflect our selves in the world, our emotions and personalities. Especially in the case of designing from reused materials, we playfully build the kids' awareness for waste, overconsumption and the linear economy oftrash.3. Impact
Creation on small budgets and availabilities not only sharpens your design process and personality, it also lets my students realize impact on a small scale in the world around them.
The range in methods I offer covers easy-to-emulate techniques, as I believe in the doability of things, as well as advanced techniques of draping, sewing and pattern tweaking.
I bring years of experience working with kids and adults in both English and German. I offer a broad variety of design techniques, mindful communication to lock down topics to dive into and communicate on, and methods to encourage my students in developing expressive designs.Classes can be combined within a broader student program or project.
